요뽀끼 Yopokki ; Spicy Tteokbokki

Hot into the night of a Saturday, I was bored and hungry so I decided to pop a cup of tteokbokki that i had stowaway for awhile.

I got it for sgd$2.50 from Lotte Kmart at Lorong Kilat ( That's in Bukit Timah Area in SG. )

Very minimalistic but pretty looking packaging ~ :D

Everything stuff into a cup.
16 tteok (yes, i counted ! )

Instructions ~ (Eng)
Idiot Proof instructions. Pour and mix everything and just microwave.

English : DO NOT EAT.

Giving it a slight shake ~
All well mixed up ~

Chewy chewy nom nom

Verdict : The sauce is pretty sweet and the spiciness doesnt hit until the second bite, but then again, the real punch is not there. There is no eomuk (fish cake), hence i deduct that it is pretty vegetarian safe (but totally took away the only meat enjoyment in it). The tteok was pretty chewy and nice but after awhile (because i am a slow eater), the tteok started to harden.
Basically, it's good if you have craving for it but after the tteok starts to harden, I had much for fun chewing on million year old gum, hence, I probably wont try it again.
