Petite France

Long overdued post.
Went to Petite France last fall before the "You from another star" maniac came in.

Apparently Petite France is currently peppered with all kind of "You from another star" posters, banners etc. Well, if you are a fan of the show, I guess this is not much of a problem ~

So I took the Gapyeong Circle Bus, to Petite France which is a little off Seoul.

I am a major fan of the little prince book.
Its a book that allows me to ponder a lot.
I highly recommend everyone to read it.
Although labelled as a children's story book, I think only an adult can understand.

Filming that took place here, Secret garden, Beethoven's Virus etc.
Petite France features a restaurant, cafe , museum, workshop where you can make your own soap etc.

is this a hat or a boa constrictor that ate an elephant.

So tempted to buy but for 33,000krw....

Supposedly what a typical french house looks like -.-....

Lights peeping through the clouds. Views you can only get in the countryside.

There is a restaurant at Petite France selling reasonable tourist priced food. But be warned, it is terrible.

With translation.
Empty empty.

Empty. Probably explained a lot about the taste.

Prawn omelette and Dak Galbi Omelette. Most failed rendition EVER.
Cold Prawn. Sad Prawn.

Cold Rice, Hard Omelette, Plastic Meat.
I begged you. PLEASE DONT.
PLEASE.
DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT.

Moving on....

One of my favourite movie.

The cafe with live music sang to .... no one.

Overall, Petite France is somewhere you can go just to get away from the usual bustling Seoul.
Its a good place to take a slow walk and look around but with the current FLOOD of tourists,
if you are not a fan of tv drama, i seriously advise you to just keep this place out of the itinerary.

On the good side, this place is very much a photo worthy place.
Except for the fact that the amount of photo bombing tourists can be quite tough to fences photoshop off. teehee !
