사골곰탕국밥; Pale-bone broth
Every winter, the biggest comfort food have got to be hot soup. No further explanation.
And my personal lazy shortcut, other then calling for delivery is instant Gukbap (soup & rice)
Introducing 사골곰탕국밥.
사골(Bone Marrow? )곰탕(Broth)국밥(Soup rice)
Available at convenience store throughout Korea at 3,500won.
Not to be confused with the everybody's favourite Seolleongtang 설렁탕, Sagolgomtang 사골곰탕 is a much simpler version, whereas Seolleongtang takes usually 10hours to boil to perfection, Sagolgomtang is like the lazier version that also uses the beef leg bones as base stock but shorter time to boil.
I got a 사골곰탕국밥 complete with soup and rice and vegetables (woohoo!) from the friendly gs25, strangely it was kept in the "fridge compartment". I wonder if its the sauce that needs the cooling ~

Verdict : FULL OF LEEK. And this brand is fortunately, ( unfortunately for me) full of it. I spend half my meal digging out the leek after the photo taking for review purposes. LOLS.
Other then that, I love love love the soup base. Flavourful enough, takes the cold out of my winter and makes me feel so loved all over. Can't believe it only took me 4min 30secs to feel the love of someone painstakingly boiling it for me.
The rice was fine, not too soggy like porridge nor too hard/al-dente like ... risotto.
I will probably eat this all the time, if it was not so expensive. I could get a instant noodle for half the price. But then again, the lack of "fake" ingredients made me pretty sad. I was half expecting some dried up meat dump into it after all it is suppose to be meat broth ....
But overall, NOT BAD INDEED.
